In other ways, it even beats it: Moisantite has more sparkle than a diamond (2.69 vs 2.42). The big difference is its value, since the diamond has a very high value, in addition to the fact that it is extracted from the earth, thus doing a harm to the environment, while the majority of the moisantite is produced in laboratories.
